Here's WHY ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​   Many young people are excited to travel, grow in Christian life principles and learn about culture - but sadly are unable to afford the realistic cost of the experience. While it's good for them to work for a portion of this cost, it's also very helpful to have partial sponsorship available to encourage their hopes to participate. ​

 

Here's HOW ​You can support a Sharing Life team as a group, an individual member, or for specified needs.  In addition to financial gifts - flight miles, equipment, Bibles & materials can also be donated prior to a Team event.  Gifts can  be sent to us directly, or given with tax-deductible receipts by sending DESIGNATED SUPPORT through Mike Hendricks at the GLOBAL ADVENTURES link below.

Short Term Interns are accepted as members of our teams who want to grow in leadership skills, cultural awareness, ministry strategy, and personal spiritual life. They work directly with us for 1-6 weeks as co-leaders for Sharing LIFE teams, helping lead meetings, make travel arrangements, work with local pastors and leaders to coordinate schedules. Interns work as volunteers and while there is no pay given, we offer a letter of invitation for the individual to raise personal support for the event(s) they want to help with.  Some costs for travel are offered through sponsors who donate a part of the travel and operations cost. Recently our Interns have been from New Mexico, Arizona, California, Philippines and Mexico.  ​

Long Term Interns These are individuals or married couples who have a calling and desire to develop personal skills and take 2 months to 1 year to work in partnership with Mike and other area pastors on a variety of projects. The requirements include a willingness to raise personal support, self-initiative and a determined attitude.  Interns can also travel to raise personal and organization support, promote and recruit for upcoming events, and learn much about behind the scenes of team building and outreach projects.
